Advocate against domestic abuse

Gemma is victorious over 15 years of domestic violence. Instead of letting her story keep her down, with the unwavering support and love of her third, last, and dream husband Sascha Gorokhoff, she healed and transformed enough to become an advocate against domestic abuse through her show, Real Talk Real Women Breaking The Silence Around Abuse, and by being a Gems For Gems ambassador, a Canadian nonprofit organization empowers women to help themselves.

"Of course you can jump, it's going to work; but I'm going to give you the same life in worse. Is that really what you want?

-- Noooooo --

So, leave by the door."

These are the words that Gemma heard from a non-physical being on June 15, 2013 when she was committing suicide by jumping from the 10th floor of her apartment building in Switzerland.
